DailyMail — Milton Braganza, a 33-year-old dining room server from Goa, India, allegedly fondled the girl’s breasts and forcibly kissed her shortly after the Brazilian adolescent boarded the Disney Dream ship on August 5 with her grandmother and sister for a five-night journey to the Bahamas. Since Florida authorities were not informed, the suspect stayed aboard the ship as it set sail and has since been released by police in the Bahamas to return to his home country, angering U.S.officials.

Surveillance video shows the young passenger encountering the cruise line employee at 2:54pm, near the elevators shortly after she boarded the ship. According to estimates, a five day journey on a Disney cruises costs an average of $900 per person. The girl boarded the elevator, where she said the man grabbed her breast, groped her and then kissed her, putting ‘mouth on mouth,’ she said according to a cruise security report.

In the video, the man’s back is to the camera blocking a view of the girl. She informed her grandmother of the assault and minutes later video shows the girl, her grandmother and her sister emerging from an elevator and making their way to the ship’s customer service desk to report the crime.

Security officers on the ship began investigating an ‘inappropriate sexual act’ at 3:22pm and at 4:40pm the dining room manager reviewed the video and identified the man in the footage as Milton Braganza. There are more than 1,458 employees crew members who work on the ship.

But when he returned to view the footage his paranoia turned to horror as he watched his partner of 11 years enter the room and begin canoodling with his 16-year-old son.

The 28-year-old woman, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, pleaded guilty at Australia’s Supreme Court to five counts of sex with a minor, claiming she hadn’t realised 16 was below the age of consent. The court heard how the affair began when she went into her de facto stepson’s bedroom weeks earlier to discuss his driving lessons.

But the conversation soon turned to tickling, then kissing, cuddling and sex, the court heard. She later took the boy upstate where they had sex several times in a hotel room. The boy’s father was so angry when he saw the pair petting in his haunted kitchen, he confronted his partner about what he had seen but she downplayed it as an innocent cuddle.

But his son told a different story, admitting they had had sex on several occasions. The man called the police and his girlfriend was duly arrested. The court heard the woman was ashamed and embarrassed by her actions and had tried to repair the broken relationship.

However, her lawyer Steve Chopping told the courtroom: ‘She accepts this is not a relationship which can or will continue.’ Justice David Porter remanded the woman in custody and will sentence her on Monday. The case continues.

Real Housewives of New Jersey star Jacqueline Laurita has revealed she had a tummy tuck and neck lift. The 41-year-old, who has three children, went under the knife in between the fourth and fifth seasons of Bravo’s hit franchise. She gave a glimpse of the results on Watch What Happens Live on Sunday night and later took to Twitter to thank her doctor.

‘That’s right, I said tummy tuck and neck lift,’ Laurita tweeted on Sunday. ‘Thank you, Dr. Brent!’

The two procedures were done by Dr. Brent Moelleken, a California-based plastic and reconstructive cosmetic surgeon. His website promotes his ‘hybrid tummy tuck,’ which is performed through a C-Section type incision and claims to be less invasive than a hip-to-hip incision. Laurita has previously confirmed having breast implants and using Botox.

She first hinted at her body makeover in February.

DailyMail — Sunbathers headed to the beach this summer will find new sunscreen labels on store shelves that are designed to make the products more effective and easier to use. But despite those long-awaited changes, many sunscreens continue to carry SPF ratings that some experts consider misleading and potentially dangerous, according to a consumer watchdog group.

A survey of 1,400 sunscreen products by the Environmental Working Group finds that most products meet new federal requirements put in place last December.The rules from the Food and Drug Administration ban terms like ‘waterproof,’ which regulators consider misleading, and require that sunscreens filter out both ultraviolet A and B rays.

Previously some products only blocked UVB rays, which cause most sunburn, while providing little protection against UVA rays that pose the greatest risk of skin cancer and wrinkles. Despite that broader protection, one in seven products reviewed by the watchdog group boasted sun protection factor, or SPF, ratings above 50, which have long been viewed with skepticism by experts. In part, that’s because SPF numbers like 100 or 150 can give users a false sense of security, leading them to stay in the sun long after the lotion has stopped protecting their skin.

Many consumers assume that SPF 100 is twice as effective as SPF 50, but dermatologists say the difference between the two is actually negligible. Where an SPF 50 product might protect against 97per cent of sunburn-causing rays, an SPF 100 product might block 98.5per cent of those rays.

‘The high SPF numbers are just a gimmick,’ says Marianne Berwick, professor of epidemiology at the University of New Mexico. ‘Most people really don’t need more than an SPF 30 and they should reapply it every couple of hours.’ Berwick says sunscreen should be used in combination with hats, clothing and shade, which provide better protection against ultraviolet radiation.

Some dermatologists say there may be some rationale for using higher SPF sunscreens, since users often don’t apply enough of the lotion to get its full effect. ‘The challenge is that beyond 50 the increase in UV protection is relatively small,’ says Dr. Henry Lim, chair of dermatology at the Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit.

The SPF number indicates the amount of sun exposure needed to cause sunburn on sunscreen-protected skin compared with unprotected skin. For example, a SPF rating of 30 means it would take the person 30 times longer to burn wearing sunscreen than with exposed skin.

There is a popular misconception that the SPF figure relates to a certain number of hours spent in the sun. However this is incorrect, since the level of exposure varies by geography, time of day and skin complexion.

The FDA itself said in 2011 that ‘labeling a product with a specific SPF value higher than 50 would be misleading to the consumer.’

At the time the agency proposed capping all SPF values at 50 because ‘there is not sufficient data to show that products with SPF values higher than 50 provide greater protection for users.’ But regulators have faced pushback from companies, including Johnson & Johnson, which argue that higher SPF products provide measurable benefits. As a result, the FDA says it is still reviewing studies and comments submitted by outside parties, and there is no deadline for the agency to finalize an SPF cap.

It took the agency decades to put in place last year’s sunscreen changes. FDA first announced its intent to draft sunscreen rules in 1978 and published them in 1999. The agency then delayed finalizing the regulations for years until it could address concerns from both industry and consumers. The FDA is also reviewing the safety of effectiveness of spray-on products, which use different formulations from other sun-protection solutions. Among other concerns, the agency is looking at whether the sprays can be harmful when inhaled.

The survey by the Environmental Working Group found that one in four sunscreens sold in the U.S. is a spray product. ‘People like the sprays because they are quick to put on and cover a lot of area,’ said Dr. Darrell Rigel, a dermatologist in New York. ‘The downside is that you usually have to apply two coats.’

More than 76,000 men and women in the U.S. will be diagnosed with melanoma this year and 9,480 are expected to die from the aggressive form of skin cancer, according to the National Cancer Institute. The disease, which is often linked to ultraviolet exposure, is usually curable when detected early.

DailyMail — Adult film actress Chanel Preston has starred in close to 150 porn flicks and is well compensated for her time, but now it appears she is having trouble keeping a bank account. Preston recently opened a business account with City National Bank in Los Angeles, the so-called ‘bank to the stars’, but when she went to deposit checks into the account days later, she was told it had been shut down, due to ‘compliance issues’.

Upon asking the manager who originally helped to open the account she asked what had happened. He told her that the bank was worried about the raunchy and explicit webcam shows that appeared on her site and had closed the business account.

The actress says she has previously been turned down for loans because of her profession, which may be controversial, but is certainly legal. Although the bank did not specifically state it was because of Preston’s association with pornography it appears she is not the only porn star who is facing difficulties with the banking industry.

Earlier this week, Marc Greenberg, founder of the soft porn studio MRG Entertainment, filed suit against JPMorgan Chase in Los Angeles Superior Court, alleging the bank violated fair lending laws and its own policy for refusing to underwrite a loan for ‘moral reasons’.

Greenberg told NBC he was approached by a representative of the bank about refinancing an existing loan but the process was beset with delays. It wasn’t until he reached out to one of JPMorgan Vice-President’s before he got an answer.

Greenberg found that his loan application was refused due to ‘moral reasons, because of JPMorgan’s disapproval of plaintiff’s former source of income and occupation as an owner of a television production company that produced television programs that dealt with the subject of human sexuality.’

Greenberg says the rejection is even more confusing since Chase bank already held the original deed on his home. Chase declined to comment on the accusations due to the pending litigation. Chanel Preston has had a similar experience. She was also denied a loan because of her profession. Read more…
