MailOnline — Single mother Stacey Suro, 42, a 20-year veteran of the Houston Police Department, has been relieved of duty pending the outcome of an Internal Affairs Investigation after risque photos of her appeared on website Model Mayhem.
Her online activity was first reported on Wednesday when chiefs at the police department learned that Suro had posted almost 100 pictures – some of which were nude – on the modeling site.
She called herself Tessoro on her biography and stated that she was a model who was charging photographers for work.
KPRC Local 2 obtained the pictures – which have since been taken off line – and said they included images of the single mother in fetish, bondage and other compromising positions.
The department’s policy on conduct says:
‘Employees shall exhibit professional conduct at all times and shall not engage in any activity, including unlawful activity that would degrade or bring disrespect upon the employee or the department.’
Police Chief Charles McClelland released a statement saying the department is aware of the allegations but he could not comment until the investigation is completed. When reporters called at Suro’s Sugar Lane home she refused to comment on the pictures or the fact she had been placed on leave.
