I have never met Pebbelz before, so I had no idea what to expect when speaking with her. Within minutes of our conversation I felt like she was an old friend that I was catching up with. Speaking in her heavy Southern accent, Pebbelz is the sweetest, most down to earth girl and her humility is what stood out the most. Check out my interview with and get to know who Pebbelz Da Model really is…
Patricia Dean: Ok, first…where did the name come from?
Pebbelz Da Model: It was a childhood nickname that I was given and it just stuck with me, so I continued to use it.
Patricia: Where did you grow up? Where are you living now?
Pebbelz: I was born in Chicago, moved to Memphis, Tennessee when I was young, and still live there now.
Patricia: How does your family feel about what you do, considering the work you do is so sexual?
Pebbelz: At first my mom wasn’t sure about it. I had to explain to her I was a model and how the entertainment business works. After seeing my pictures and hearing about my music projects she is actually excited about it all.
Patricia: That’s understandable, mothers are always going to be protective. How did you get started modeling anyway?
Pebbelz: Many people don’t know but I am also a professional hair stylist and I would work with a lot of models, doing their hair. So when I was offered to do my own photo shoot, I went along with it, I didn’t know what to expect. I figured I could use some professional photos of myself anyways. The guy who took the photos then submitted my pictures to Model Mayhem and I was found on there!
Patricia: What are your measurements? How tall are you?
Pebbelz: 34, 26, 48 and I’m 5’4″.
Patricia: What’s real, what’s fake? How do you feel about plastic surgery, would you ever get any?
Pebbelz: I am all real. As far as plastic surgery I have nothing against it. If you want to enhance your body, go for it, if it makes you feel better. I was actually thinking about getting my breasts done for my birthday, but I’m still not sure.
Patricia: What are some of your dos and don’ts of the bedroom?
Pebbelz: I am not a kisser, I know it’s a way to be intimate but I’m not that into it. What do I like is my breasts sucked, licked, whatever and my back rubbed. Those are way to get me going for sure.
Patricia: If you could have one night alone with any man in the world who would it be?
Pebbelz: Jay-Z. Let me tell you why… I like the relationship he has with Beyonce, I like how he is such a successful business man and I would want to talk business with him and ask him for advice on how to succeed.
Patricia: What is the craziest experience you have had with a fan?
Pebbelz: I had a fan once ask me to pee on him, even go number 2 on him! One guy also asked how many pieces of toilet paper it takes to wipe my butt. I get the strangest questions.
Patricia: I’m sure many want to know – are you single?
Pebbelz: Yes.
Patricia: Do you want to get married one day?
Pebbelz: Yes! I definitely believe in marriage. I have an aunt who is married about 30 years and I love what she has.
Patricia: I imagine dating must be hard for you. Do you date men in the industry?
Pebbelz: Yes it’s hard, partly because I am always working and on the road. It’s hard for a man to understand what I do, between interacting with fans and hosting parties they get jealous and sometimes don’t understand it’s just work. I would rather not date a man in the industry. I’ve tried it and it just doesn’t work.
Patricia: What type of man do you want?
Pebbelz: I want a man that can understand me as a person and accept my career. He needs to be confident in himself. I want to be able to go home and enjoy life with my better half.
Patricia: What is the life of a model like?
Pebbelz: It’s crazy! I can’t go anywhere with out people taking pictures or video. I usually have to go out in a disguise. I wear wigs, hats, baggy clothes, long jackets… It’s hard in the summer because I can’t cover up as easily, the winter is when I get to go out and do more on my own…it’s much easier in the winter.
Patricia: How do females in the industry respond to you, how do you deal with the negativity?
Pebbelz: There’s a lot of jealously, bitchiness, attitudes. Basically I stick to work and focus on that. I have a very small circle and they are all people who are down for Pebblez Da Model, and promoting the brand.
Patricia: You are in great shape, do you work out? How do you keep your butt so perky?
Pebbelz: I work out 3 times a week, every week. I have to in order to keep everything tight. I do as many squats as I can for my butt and I’m on the elliptical a lot.
Patricia: What do you do to relax?
Pebbelz: Beside working out, I like to lay back with a glass of wine and watch some basketball, or any sports that’s on, or my favorite TV show.
Patricia: Speaking of sports, who do you want to win the Super Bowl?
Pebbelz: New York!
Patricia: Do you watch reality TV?
Pebbelz: Yes. My favorites are Love and Hip Hop, Tiny and T.I.’s show The Family Hustle, Real Housewives of Atlanta, and Mob Wives.
Patricia: Who’s your favorite artist?
Pebbelz: Jay-Z.
Patricia: Who is your role model?
Pebbelz: Myself. Always remember to keep God first.
Patricia: What are some of your goals and future projects you are working on?
Pebbelz: I want to have my own talk show, a clothing line, a weave line and I’m looking to do motivational speaking for girls/women and give advice for plus size models, maybe even a reality show. I am also doing music now. I just shot a video for a rock song called “That’s Me”. I would have never thought I would be doing rock music but it came out great and I had so much fun working with the band Sound Frontier.
Patricia: What is your biggest accomplishment so far?
Pebbelz: Where I am now. From where I started it’s amazing what I have made of Pebbelz Da Model.
