Jailed killer Joran Van der Sloot wrote a love letter to his ‘guardian angel’ begging her to keep sending him thousands of dollars and continue paying his legal bills. The hand-written note was sent to Dr Mary Hamer in Florida after the 24-year-old Dutchman was jailed for killing Peruvian student Stephany Flores for 28 years last week.
It appears the desperate plea was made after Hamer, who he calls his guardian angel and spiritual guide, had asked for $75,000 bail money she sent to his lawyer, Jose Luis Jimenez, to be returned after she realized Van der Sloot was not even eligible for bail.
From prison in Lima, Peru, Van der Sloot shamelessly asks for another $70,000, while begging Dr Hamer, a 55-year-old divorced radiologist, to ‘trust him’ claiming that he loves her – and it would appear she still does.
Dr Hamer had already sent over $100,000 in legal fees and other expenses for Van der Sloot and sent him care packages. She has also visited the killer, whom she calls Buddha, three times in jail.

According to RadarOnline.com, Dr Hamer claims that Jimenez conned her by saying the cash was for Van der Sloot’s bail. ‘Now I find out by Peruvian law that there is no bail in Peru for murder,’ she told the website.
In his letter, Van der Sloot shamelessly asks for more money and attaches a receipt detailing his legal bills.

According to RadarOnline.com, Jimenez claims to have returned the $75,000 which she is yet to receive. In an email to RadarOnline.come, he said:
‘Joran is very upset with me for returning the money, I did it [Monday]. Mary Hamer asked me to return it to her after listening to Joran admit to his crime. That upset him very much and he saw me as a traitor.’
He claims that it was his clients decision to ask Dr Hamer for the money, and that he simply verified that it went into his account, reports RadarOnline.com.
